TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using the Sovant API service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. API USAGE
You may use our API only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Exceed the rate limits or quota for your subscription tier
- Share API keys or allow unauthorized access to your account
- Use the Service to store illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
3. DATA OWNERSHIP & PRIVACY
You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service ("Your Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store Your Data solely for providing the Service.
We process data according to our Privacy Policy.
Beta Export & Deletion:
During the beta program, Sovant AI provides data export and deletion services upon request. Users may email support@sovant.ai with the subject lines "Export Request" or "Deletion Request." Requests will be acknowledged within 72 hours and completed within 7 business days. Self-service export and deletion tools will be available at public release.
4. PAYMENT & BILLING
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. All payments are non-refundable (except as required by law), subject to auto-renewal, and inclusive of all applicable taxes.
5. SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Business and Enterprise plans may include uptime commitments in your subscription.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sovant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
7. TERMINATION
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data retention policies are outlined in our Privacy Policy.
8. CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
9. BETA DISCLAIMER
⚠️ Beta Notice: Sovant AI is currently offered in a limited beta program. During this period, the Service is provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind. Features, functionality, and uptime may change without prior notice.
10. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
11. SECURITY & COMPLIANCE
We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. However, no system is completely secure. Sovant complies with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
